Cork oak (Quercus suber L.) is one of the most important Mediterranean forest tree species, and Maâmora forest-Morocco considered to be world largest cork stand. Clonal propagation Quercus via somatic embryogenesis an alternative conventional methods. However, complete maturation embryos major bottleneck for mass during embryogenesis. This study focuses on influences cytokinins secondary Cytokinins showed a negative effect induction For various concentrations tested, number was significantly reduced except in case with low dose 2iP, which slight increase. Abscisic acid (ABA) may beneficial at between 0.3 0.5 mg/l. The best given mg/l ABA average 5 from each primary embryo, represents increase below 10% compared control medium. Phenylurea derivatives TDZ DPU do not promoted process no significant similar response medium inhibitory effect. Our results provide new insight into embryo development, establishing basis further research toward improvement Moroccan oak.
